January Week 2
Monday
Ashlee start us off on week two strong! 12 rounds of fun that keep you moving and work almost every muscle group ;) Playlist
Class: 30 minute Full Body HIIT
Challenge: Take a savasana after class today. If you have ten minutes, take 10, if you have 1, take 1. Just allow yourself to find stillness after your movement rather than immediately returning to your busy day!
Tuesday
Class: At the request of those that wanted standing core, enjoy this throwback to the summer. I love this class, tons of oblique action and fun!
Challenge: Write down 1 goal for the week, 1 for the month and 1 for the year. Then write down 3 actions/steps for each goal that will help you achieve them.
Wednesday
This is a GREAT chest work out. Lots of upper body and push up work today. Sorry for the funky camera angle near the end (technical difficulties), listen to my cues rather than worrying about watching when I'm on the ground.
Class: Push up and chest work with Ashlee
Challenge: How close can you get to drinking your body weight in ounces of water? Believe it or not that is closer to the bare minimum of what we should be doing on INACTIVE days. Crazy right? Shoot for the stars and see where you land :) as you can probably tell I feel passionately about drinking water.
Tip: Add a lemon, lime, basil, mint or any other herbs to make it more exciting!
Thursday
Class: Fascia Release (restorative)
Challenge: Today is all about restoring so find 5-10 minutes to meditate. This could be you listening to your breath, following a previous video, or using an app for guided meditation. One of my favorites is on the podcast app called “Meditation Minis”
Friday
Whether you are a relatively new yogi, or an advanced practitioner we can all use a good ol' flow sometimes! If you have never done yoga before, take the yoga fundamentals class instead below. Otherwise take a challenge and move your body! Let go of what doesn't work and take what does. The beauty of your yoga practice is that it is uniquely YOURS!
Class: Intermediate Flow with option for Fundamental Yoga class if you have never taken a yoga class before.
Challenge: Write a comment on today’s post saying one thing you have learned/felt in this challenge so far!
Saturday
HARDER CLASS OPTION: Power Flow Fusion is a blend of movement and sculpt style strengthening exercises. For those of you who requests glutes this is for you! Grab two blocks for class.
Class: TWO OPTIONS
Power Flow Fusion is 45 minutes of fairly intense strengthening. It is recommended you have some yoga experience for this one.
20 Minute HIIT with Ashlee is the more express and less advanced version. What do you have time for today? Choose whatever AUTHENTICALLY feels like the best option for you.
Challenge: Can you incorporate 4 different veggies into your diet today? If thats easy for you, see how many different kinds you have on hand and try to incorporate 80% of them into today’s diet!
Sunday
Class: Meditation
Challenge: Find a recipe for one new meal to make this week that is not only healthy, but excites you! This could be a new type of cuisine, using a new ingredient or just something you haven’t tried to make before.
