Sauces and seasonings are the greatest trick to make healthy food taste amazing.

 

Asian Recipes

Asian Noodle or Salad Dressing

 

  • 1 Tbsp Lime Juice

  • 1.5 Tbsp Honey

  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 Tsp Sesame Oil

  • 2 Tsp Black Pepper

  • 1.5 Inch Cube Ginger

  • 1 Bunch of Green Onions

Place ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth. Add additional honey to taste. Great on rice noodles or any mixture of salad greens. One of my favorites is to mix a salad with some rice noodles to give it a little more body

 

White Balsamic Garlic Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • ½ cup white balsamic vinegar

  • 2-3 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp italian seasoning

  • 1 head garlic 

Cut off top of garlic head so cloves are exposed, coat in olive oil and roast for about 30-40 minutes (or until soft and golden brown) at 375.

In a food processor or blender add all ingredients and blend on high. Adjust seasonings based on taste.

 

Greek Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • ¾ cup red wine vinegar

  • juice of half a lemon

  • 3 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1 tbsp thyme

  • 1 tsp rosemary

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

Add all ingredients to a jar and shake until mixed. Note, if you put in a food processor or blender for just a few seconds on high the dressing stays together a little better.
